Complaints will be viewed by the PTA Program as an opportunity to improve the quality of the PTA Program. It is the policy of the PTA Program to take complaints about the program, its students, faculty, curriculum, etc., very seriously and to provide a mechanism to receive complaints.
Every complaint received by the PTA Program will be investigated and acted upon in accordance with the results of the investigation and protect those who desire to make the complaint.
Complaints regarding the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program should be first addressed to the PTA program coordinator, Dr. Renee Borromeo, at rlb18@psu.edu or 717-749-6020.
Unresolved complaints or complaints about the program coordinator should be directed to Michael Doncheski, director of Academic Affairs at Penn State Mont Alto, at mad10@psu.edu or 717-749-6051.
No retaliation will occur by either the PTA program or by Penn State due to a complaint being filed.
The complainant may also choose to file a written complaint with Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 3030 Potomac Ave., Suite 100, Alexandria, VA 22305-3085.
